At Pretentious Pooch Online, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and the process of buying at our store and online.

Obtaining a return authorization.
Contact us to obtain a return authorization number. No return will be accepted without prior authorization.

Original Packaging
Your return must contain the original packaging. Any item returned without the original packaging may be refused or subject to a restocking fee determined after examining the return.

Please enclose a note.
Please include, with your return, a note that indicates the reason for returning your merchandise and the packing slip that was sent with the product. You can write the note on the packing slip.

Ship Wisely
We cannot be held liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages, for your own protection, we suggest that you insure your package before mailing and use a traceable shipping method.

Restocking Fee
Items returned in non-sellable condition or without original packaging may be charged a re-stocking fee determined after the product is reviewed for value.

Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. This includes the original delivery shipping and your return shipping.

Return Exceptions
Please read the descriptions of all our products before ordering, as some items cannot be returned.

Damages and Defects
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, you should contact us within 3 business days of receipt and we will correct the problem.

In-store Purchases

We want you to be happy with each and every product you purchase. To that end, Pretentious Pooch offers a 30-day return-exchange policy on all products unopened or unused and returned in new saleable condition. Customers must present original sales or gift receipt for all returns and exchanges. Proof of compliance with manufacturer’s recommended use, care, and labeling is required for returns or exchanges based on product quality and longevity.

Returns for cash or check purchases over $75.00 will be issued by check and mailed within 14 business days of the return. All returns are subject to manager approval. Pretentious Pooch reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.
